garden centers

I plan to buy a bunch of garden stuff such as containers and compost as well as plants. I am going to try IKEA, but are there any recommendations for any garden centers that are in Zürich or within reasonable distance on public transport? (I know that there is are some midweek markets that have plants, but weekend shopping would be better).

Thanks,
Paul.

Re: garden centers

Look for a Landi there is one in every town, or Jumbo, IKEA is not so good.

Bauhaus in Schlieren. Reachable with S3 and S12 from Zürich HB.
Their shuttle service will pick you up (and bring you back, of course) directly from the station.
