| | Re: Problems with senior trainer in the fitness centre I train in | Quote: | | | | | Hi guys, thought I'd post here and see if anyone has advice.
In my fitness centre here, they have a number of staff as always that walk around. One in particular, the senior trainer (my luck) has something against me and is giving me grief at every opportunity.
I don't know if it is racially motivated or if it is just because I'm in better shape then him and a lot of the people in the gym come to me for advice or most likely, the girl he likes who trains in the gym is my ex (She told he tried with her a few times by giving his number whilst in the fitness centre) | | | | | | Quote: | | | | | Dude people can do what they want to me but if someone touched my g/f or wife or sister or mother in an agressive way I would destroy them - can't believe anyone would diss someone who didn't stand up for his loved one being attacked | | | | | is it about you or your ex girl friend?

Well ...
I will try to ignore this guy but if continues to try it just with me then obviously I'll have to make a stand.
So far it's 1 incident from yesterday
Alot of back talking as I know a girl who works there in the fitness centre and tells me I really bother him ;p and he is always talking all sorts of bad things about me to other members of staff
I'll just ignore/move away when I see him coz my blood boils too so I'll just avoid
However if he pushes it - it'll be an official complaint
Problem with him is though, even if I complain, he'll turn around and get some of his little gym buddies to make 5x more complaints about me. HE just really is a jealous/sneaky type of guy with no balls.
Worst come to worst, my last option - I'll make sure I do something outside of his working hours also - it's the only way they learn a lesson

I don't even talk to my ex anymore in the gym -
He just hates me a lot ;p as do I him ... in the gym he feels a bit powerful as he can tell me what to do and pick on me
I could use racial discrimination here! As I'm literally like the only asian in the gym and he just picks on me ;p

Someone bad rep me when I told my story in that thread. A guy tried to grab me and to escape I hit him in the face and I broke his nose. What a girl should have done? Lets wait and see if he just wanted to talk?
Anyway, it is OT. Just ignore the guy or try to talk to him if you think he will be open to listen to you. Not worthed to put yourself in trouble.

Oh no - he's calling you names.
Whatever next?? | Quote: | | | | | As I'm literally like the only asian in the gym and he just picks on me ;p | | | | | Sorry, you are literally (meaning actually) the only person in the gym who is like an Asian.
Do you mean similar to an Asian? OR ARE YOU JUST BEING WORKING CLASS

Formerly challenge him to a duel (you have to do the glove slap thing). If he accepts then you can take it outside somewhere and you are 100% free of all legal liability. This is not advice, and wrong.
Err, formally.

Wow...this is getting interesting.
OP, if it is racial, just forget it. Sounds like you want to fight, though. Is it because of your ex? Is she even worth all these nerves? She must be all excited having her ex and some joke from a gym wanting to fight over her.
I think if you keep above all this noise coming from that guy, you win. I am not sure why you would be so scared of being kicked out, though, just because you protect yourself from being harassed. Be above all this. Zen.

I was joking before but I just don't see how grown men always seem to think fighting will solve anything & look for excuses like an ex, race or how big one is to bash each other up.
You go to the gym to make yourself feel/look good & end up worrying about some bossy prick. Just ASK HIM why he is rude to you, because you are the customer. I'm also a big guy, some guys are like this in gym's, all part of the whole thing but I don't really give a monkeys & would not give up anything if I was using it.
You sound like you have other issues, violence is never a solution to any differences.

The bird this gym instructor is chatting up isn't even your girl friend, she's your ex, the only crime that the guy is guilty of is chatting up a single girl and mild abrupt rudeness; if actions like these warrant a merciless punishment beating in a dimly lit alleyway, we're all F**ked. | The following 2 users would like to thank for this useful post: | |

What I don't get is why the guy would give you an attitude because you are the ex of the girl he fancy? |

The best thing the OP can do is write a letter to Oprah Winfrey and discuss the problem in her show, with all parties involved. This is where such problems belong.

| | Re: Problems with senior trainer in the fitness centre I train in I really want to know how this story resolves. Does the OP beat the gym instructor and win the girl with a visceral show of Travis Bickle style street violence? Does the OP, while being blocked access to the 'Abdominator' finally snap and chain himself to the bench-press and organise a Gym-in, to the bemusement of the other gym users? Or, does he write a strongly worded letter to Mr 'Migros sports' demanding the immediate elimination of all arrogant and annoyingly cocky weights room goons? | This user would like to thank for this useful post: | |

The one who stole your good girl?
Well you cut him up and down,
Heard you cut him all around.
Now who you got to blame for your trials and tribulations?
Well I tried to tell you, but you run and hide
Down by the riverbed, stayed drunk all night

When they drag you to the courthouse boy,
What did you do with your wisdom?
Well you cursed the judge again,
Cursed the judge again.
Who you gonna blame for your trials and tribulations?
I tried to tell you, but you run and hide
Down by the trestle bridge, with a .45

Perhaps you should tell him that he's embarrassing himself in front of his customer, and that he needs to get out of your face so that you can continue your work out. Then complain about that nerd to the management. |
