Hi all, just want to see how many of you live in Nyon or near by, to see if it would make sense to set up some dinner evenings.

I know there`s not alot to do in town, but maybe it`ll be nice to have dinner or drinks every few weeks.

Hello Bokkie, there could be good 10-15 semi active members here from Nyon, just jump at it and it will work out, sooner or later. Try looking into Events section how the events are organized. There are a couple of decent places to eat, we have our fav resto in Givrin, it's unbeatable but there are a few nice ones in Nyon, too.

Big believer in trying to mix with locals but if it's English you seek, check out the Fisherman's pub...I think it's Thursday nights that it's a good turnout - a lot of English

There are a bunch of English speakers in Brasseurs, as well, Friday, but for informal mingling Fisher man' pub would probably be better. I know they do Brunch every last Sunday of the month (it's advertise for men, though, "men creche").
