The Swiss presenter has announced that Azerbaijan is now the winner even though the show isn't finished.

Congratulations Azerbaijan!

The Azerbaijaniests are in shock. Shaking, screaming and nervously combing their hair with their fingers- they are now officially a part of Europe!

Sharing thoughts: The danse-remix of the hungarian song will be a hit in the discos this summer and Stefan Raab really has lost weight for this evening, hard work!
The actual performance of the Hungarian song was not overwhelming, but the singer, just like the singer of the Spanish team, really WAS

This Hungarian lady may well have a nice future ahead of her

What happen with Spain and Switzerland!!!!!?????

I liked both!
Spain and Switzerland do not have too much support in the modern-day Europe.

For Switzerland, the question again will be whether to continue or whether to drop out of this Song Contest, and to reduce the contribution to Eurovision. To give one of the best contributions and to land up on the last place simply does not make sense. This will be the topic in the Swiss media right tomorrow.

German presenter is in 2D the Hungarian is in 3D
the Hungarian 3rd place in view of the charming lead singer makes sense, but the 2nd place for that boring German contribution is rubbish. But possibly some people need more German money shortly

Israel, or rather Israeli TV, has been a founding member of Eurovision, and the country for decades participated in Eurovision programs (news/entertainment)

And Azerbaijan???
Azerbaijan, just as Georgia and Armenia, plus Turkey and Russia, ARE in Europe. Europe has nothing to do with the E.U. but with the Council of Europe

Here a list of the members of CEPT :

------------------

the Eurovision organisation however is NOT an organisation of the coutries but of the national TV organizations

I'm not in the least partisan about it (and I was hoping the UK and Ireland didn't make it as I didn't want to hear about it on TV for the next week or so), and I only saw about four performances. However, she might be able to sing, but that song was the most flat, dull and lacklustre performance. Sorry.
