Rules, conforming, hierarchy...Black clothes. Smoking. R&r.

And then everything that is quirky. They won't tell you, but they like it.

Re: Things Swiss People Like

Carrying their own very neatly folded selection of carrier bags to the market and proudly unwrapping exactly the right type of bag to suit their purchase.

Mullets.

Keeping their opinions to themselves instead of getting into an

Where can I find this swiss ones? Every where I look on the streets are the ones who are actually waiting for a victim to explode their rage at.
The one I have at home is "learning" to be polite while complaining, 3 years and still begginer level.

Re: Things Swiss People Like

  • Saying tipically swiss to all that represents perfection... even if is not actually swiss
  • Keeping their place Ikea catalogue kind of clean
  • The cleaning of the apartment post rental (i love this one because it really make you wonder if its really necessary to paint that wall or hang this here and there)

Being married with a swiss I cannot say I dont like the culture, but I can say is difficult to deal with, as I can imagine people saying is dificult to deal with a mexican. And all about food I have been switzerlanded as I make really yummy swiss food (althoug have no idea how to write the name) and sometimes wraped in a taco hahahaha

- Drinking wine from their own (i.e. where they were born) region.

- Reminiscing.

- Giving street directions (and occasionally accompanying you there personally if they are not convinced you have understood).

- Figuring out, and then explaining, how fiddly gadgets work.

All fine qualities in my view.

-Burning their fingers on a hot sausage instead of putting the sausage into the Bürli.

-Burning the sausage itself on the top and the bottom, while keeping it cold in the middle.

Re: Things Swiss People Like

I have notice they like to dress in black for special occasions or the colour black is almost in their dressings.

They like being orderly and precisely. Also, the Swiss like people looking straight into the eyes when handshaking.

They like to keep fit...almost all the Swiss people i have met are not fat.

I love the Swiss people especially for the orderliness and cleaniless...i am getting addicted to living here.

Supposedly red shoes. That's according to Diccon Bewes recent book, but I haven't seen any evidence of this.

Weird facial hair trimming styles
Pushing in front of a bunch of people who were obviously there first
Pointing out that 20% of the population is not Swiss and therefore implying that the auslanders are responsible for all of the bad things.
