Did you buy any?
We have soup spoons at home anyway, but we bought some anyway, just because we could!

It was the highlight of my year, I tell you...

The plan view certainly suggests "soup spoon", but only the side elevation will actually give us the true depth of the bowl, and therefore the possibility of a positive ID.
..suggests...transition equally sceptical!

If I could find some so close to home I would feel the same. I am very happy for you and I am sure your 'old' soup spoons are equally delighted with the 'new additions' to the family God bless you all.

I suddenly feel the urge to buy four - just in case we have Brits (or Americans and Australians) as guests and we're serving soup.

(Note to German other half: Do not get apoplectic at seeing new spoons that do not match the other spoons.)

Thats how I know they are fruit spoons and not soup spoons. You see the maraschino fight involved wacking each other with the spoon, and a soup spoon hurts more than a fruit spoon. Simples

Ah - I see now! I thought you were pointing out that another thing missing in Switzerland was "Quality", and thought you were being a wee bit harsh.

"Style" or "class", on the other hand...
