Dear EF,

Could have used any of the other ophthalmoligical threads, but since they handle more with eye prescriptions and laser treatments, i thought this could desearve a thread of it own..... please apologize if this is not the case ....

Could anyone recommend a good English speaking Ophthalmologist in Zurich, please? I suffer from chronical conjunctivitis, and as of late it is worsening. I would need my eyes checked by a specialist before it gets out of control.... it is not really anything you can do by walking in a Pharmacy and ask for help.... Has anyone a favourite eye doctor in town?

Sorry, I don't have the answer for you, but will give the same advice I've given before: Ask your local Optician.

They will be the ones filling scripts for children getting glasses, and will have heard about which doctors are good with patient type x, y and z, or specialize in which type of patient care.

Usually they'll have experience from encountering the doctors themselves, as well as (and importantly from your standpoint) hearing from their mutual patients.

She was a student when Dr König gave lectures at the Uni Zch. Dr König on his turn had the trust of famour Dr Libermann in Paris (Rue de Rivoli)

Update. We found one. My husband found them very child friendly and felt they were thorough.
