Dont know where to go from here

Im 18 and I want to get into Event Managment so badly . I ve had expirence at Roche already but no schooling on the matter. I plan to go to school for it eventually but first I want more expirience, maybe something more glamourous than buisness. But anything is fun really. I live in Switzerland so its hard to find good things English speaking. whats my best bet?

Learn to spell? Seriously , event management is a frantic but dynamic world. What about tracking down some wedding organisers and applying for a job as assistant, that way you can start to build up experience.

No really, learn to spell. Event management is a hectic and chaotic job (wonderful, if you ask me!) and communication skills, written and oral, are the basic foundations. Learn to spell, improve your writing skills, and follow grumpygit's excellent advice above.

As you now live in Switzerland you have to see a very basic difference between the USA and Switzerland. Much of US business believes in "on-the-job-training" and the taking of courses after having got some experience. In Switzerland, in a tightly regulated business environment, schools and apprenticeships (combination of a job with up to 20 hours of school per week) are the basis for any real qualified professional activity.
