We have our first visitors to our new home in Basel arriving tomorrow for the Easter Weekend and I am now wondering whether everything will be closed for the day on Good Friday? Whilst I am expecting the shops etc to be closed will places like Basel Zoo also be closed?

Advice on what to do when there are no shops open and you have a disabled pensioner, 2 adults and 3 teenagers in tow would be much appreciated.

Meaning that it will be open on all Easter days. And also open will be the shops at Basel-SBB
