l am in Thailand at a kickboxing camp, as we only have Sundays off I will most probably be doing the same thing I have been doing for the past 10 days:
05.30 wake up
05.50 go jogging/power walking for 45 min and watch the sunrise on Rawai beach
07.00 2 hours of kickboxing training
09.30 healthy breakfast
10.15 ride bicycle to the beach
15.00 ride back to my bungalow
16.00 45min on the rowing machine or ride 30 min to the market
17.00 90 minute thai massage with oil
18.45 healthy dinner
20:00 back to the bungalow
21.00 bedtime
It is just about time for my massage now.
HAPPY EASTER to you all! Please eat some chocolate for me

Re: Happy Easter everyone - What are your plans ?

My plans were: Picking up my AOH plus dog flying in from Michigan to Zurich Airport today, taking them to the Engadine before the holiday craze starts congesting the roads, spending a few nice days in the montains and driving back to the lowlands on Tuesday, again to avoid the inevitable weekend stop-and-go situations.

Reality: I just learned that said AOH has a severe otitis media, which all of a sudden kicked in yesterday. Her doctor strictly forbade anything like flying. Granted, she is the worst worrywart in the northern hemisphere, even more so whenever she has to fly, so it's normal for her to contract something she calls food poisoning the day before departure, the thing that normal people would call the nervous runs. But this time it's more serious, and it's real bacteria, not just brain bugs.

Now I'm putting all the stuff from the coolers back into the fridge, unloading the car including a lot of wood for the fireplace and making new plans, especially how to eat all the food I already bought for the two of us. Oh well.....

Re: Happy Easter everyone - What are your plans ?

Picking up the fiance from zurich airport tonight, pizza for dinner,
an hour massage i promised him... poor guy had a very hectic 2 weeks in Korea, hardly recovered from jetlag. Maybe a midnight snack, I baked a cake for the first time to surprise him.

Driving to future in-laws in east germany to further arrange the venue and accommodations for wedding party. I hope to cram as much "deutschlernen" before holidays end.

Re: Happy Easter everyone - What are your plans ?

Aye . . Happy Easter to everyone

Me? I am staying here in Zürich
I hope to finally get out on the bike for a big ride (Training for next year finally starts now).
Bit of shopping and go to the cinema.
Write some letters that I have put off for ages.
Maybe rent a kayak for a day, or do another mountain hike (note to self . . take sun cream this time!).
That`s it . . . oh yeh . . bit of music practice too

I don't know about beating me, but I do know about taking a beating. I hope I get a dark enough tan to cover up all of my bruises before I come back!
Basher, your easter plans sound wonderful! What instrument do you play?

Got to be careful now . . Well, when I say `Play` I mean in a very basic form . . piano - I can bash out `3 blind mice` in the style of Jerry Lee Lewis . . . oops hope someone else didn`t read that.

Enjoy the rest of your stay . . . . and give `em hell .

For someone who only has about 2 months of lessons, being able to read notes and bash out 3 blind mice is pretty good progress.

I am looking forward to hearing it Jerry Lee Lewis style next lesson.

We might go to Colmar.

There is a spring festival and kids can look for hidden eggs.
If you go there by car i also suggest to go to see Riquewihr and Ribeauville. Very beautiful old towns.

For me there is just Jungfrau on sat or sun and probably Castle Lenzburg. Pretty happy to see these first.

Jealous!!! Stockholm is my next city to live in! love the place, have fun!

I'll be staying in Basel I think, trying to save some money. Probably hit the outdoor swimming pools seeing as the weather will be good.
