I will be trying to escape the neanderthal pagan Easter beating traditions in the land of Bohemians.

Eating chocolate eggs sounds so much nicer

Well, MiniMusic insisted on buying her an Easter whip, so I am sure she will gladly fill in...

Despite the unseasonably warm weather, I've just had to mow the grass, where it was becoming a bit overgrown, to make the egg hunt a bit easier and safer for tomorrow (we have a dog and don't want any unfortunate mistakes).

Ah well Easter is almost over, time to be serious again.
Went to visit the eternal city, and it is true that one life time is not enough to capture 27 centuries of beauty.
Walked 8 hours a day and got lost with utmost pleasure in the tiny crooked streets in search of the forgotten ruin, the Roman testimony, the chapel, and..... the perfect gelatto.
I didn't see where my penny landed in the fontana di Trevi, so I must go back to find it.. one day

Munich for us and some friends.

Because majority of the world is heading down south and getting stuck in the Gottard tunnel, we managed to get a very sweet hotel deal in Munich!! A weekend of hanging out in the beer gardens. wooooop!

Happy easter everyone!
Great minds think alike :-)

I just came back from Munich 10 minutes ago.

The Gotthard Tunnel traffic was one of the Reasons Munich beat Genoa.

The Theory behind was great, but it took 1 hour to get from ZH to Winterthur, and traffic was also quite bad at Bregenz. Next time I probably bite the sour apple and buy an austrian vignette.

Doc.

Get a korridor vignette or 2 €, won´t stop you from a two hour traffic jam at the Pfänder though.
