| | US/CH women's measurements
My daughter needs to get measured for a bridesmaid's dress in the US (she's here, but the wedding is in the US), but has no idea of the measuring differences (but she does have a US measuring tape).
So, in the US, where do you measure? Is it the same as here?
Thanks,
Tom

Thanks all.
She found something similar that showed where to measure (and with a US tape measure here, and a cousin (bride to be) in the US that spent five years at fashion school in Milano), unit conversions are not the problem!
(I already know that bust measurements are done differently, so had to be sure)

Tom | | | | | not exactly.... the 34/36/38 (75/80/85) correspond to the measurement just below the bust.

(my girlfriend is 75D/34D, and we have dual scale US/metric measuring tapes, so I know how it goes)

your g/f has 34D.......lucky u!! i guess u jst had to share that
be sure that when measuring the Hips, u have to take the largest part of the hip . place the tape in a straight line, here is a pic, to show the exact place to measure

If you find out who makes the dress their website should have a measurement chart on it which will show the exact spots to measure. Sometimes you can print them off and sent it back right on the illustration.
