Private Firstclass School – The better way to care.

Firstclass is a newly founded (2011-2012) private day school in the north of Zurich offering a bilingual education of a high standard. The lessons are taught in German and English in Kindergarten and at the primary level.

Primary school

The grades 1 to 3 are taught bilingually according to the canton of Zurich curriculum. This allows the possibility to transfer at any time to a public- or international school.

Kindergarten

Our kindergarten teacher is a trained remedial teacher, and assists and teaches the kindergarten children according to the cantonal curriculum through various crafts, music and cognitive activities. The bilingual part is also supported by the English teacher.

Individual Support

Our classes are deliberately kept small so that each individual receives the quality and support required. Mixed age groups discover and explore together through a healthy balance of music, arts and sport.

Professional support

We emphasize a high standard of quality at our school. Parents are guaranteed that their child will learn according to a high level of ethical and pedagogical conventions. They are also assured that their children are cared for in a professional and warm environment consistently by two teachers.

Designated teachers

Our team is comprised of qualified teachers who know each other and have worked together in the past as team.

Contact

Please contact our head teacher, Bernadette Dürr for an application interview and we will inform you personally about our school concept and show you our premises.

The private school Firstclass is a state-approved private school. It is politically and religiously independent.

And why don't they publish their prices on their Homepage?
I'm a little distrustful of " Private " schools

Most private schools do. Check the SIS Swiss International School website for example.

They do. I've become distrustful of forum members posting negative reviews of businesses. I've almost always found the cause to be with the member.

Strange that they only publish their prices on the German version of their site. Or that a bilingual school doesn't have a complete version of their site in both languages...

The English version is a "light" site. Remember that the institution is quite new, and that it's just a school, not ExxonMobil. So really it's not "strange" at all, is it?

No need to, the price is in the name.

No, just a parent who wouldn't send his child to a bilingual school without a bilingual website. And don't tell me the costs would be high, it's just a matter of translating the content, the site is there already and done with a CMS, so no biggie to add pages.
