Got duped by the morning sunshine into deciding not to bring a jacket today; should I pass any of you on the way home, I apologise in advance for sporting the soggy-nipple look.
I got the msg from Meteo Schweiz this morning alerting about heavy raining from 12pm, I left home wearing wellies, umbrella and a kinda heavy jacket, to notice that it was more sunny than rainny. Not to mention the looks I got from ppl this morning to my 41 size red wellies walking under the sun
I wish there were more specific information regarding the impeding natural disaster that we are apparently about to face. And since this community is about practical advice, please do tell how much duct tape and plastic tarp I should have on hand. Do I have time to stock on canned soup and vegetables at Migros? Or does the level of the catastrophe looming upon us require a beeline to the bunkers?
Must be the Congo thing, here we are still in the midst of conferences and graduation...
Rusty, don't get too excited. I think that was about it for a storm, yesterday, looks like clear weather today. Maybe a few bags of sand in case of flooding would suffice...
Red wellies size 41 sound smashing! Just sport them with a sunny smile..
Yesterday it was raining heavily in Geneva. I was looking forward to spend the night in front of the pc (since watching TV is a no no unless im working)
Went home and the mutt had other ideas. And let me tell you. Picking up dog business in the heavy rain while carrying an umbrella and said dog who refuses to cooperate is hard!
