Just to let those who work in a different region and left their shutters unattached, there has been pretty strong wind in Geneva-Lausanne area today, around 60 km/h. In neighboring French region it is 80km/h for tomorrow, so it will probably stay a bit. Even with windows only cracked open, the draft is strong. I can hear people's shutters banging and windows slamming to close.

Hahaha...well, the breeze is very pleasant, but surprisingly strong. I have a few windows cracked open and just the draft slams the doors inside the apartment, weird. They say it will last around 50 till Friday, when the wind is announced back to normal 20. The temps dropped too, since yesterday it was 29 here, and it will be 20 tomorrow.
We got our fried cheese, soup and salad rained on yesterday when we had taken our dinner to the lake, grrrrr.

There is a map, it should show. I just saw a French forecast in region just a few kms next to us, it is even stronger there.

Just gone out into the field to horse poo pick and everything started flying around (no not the poo), thunder, lightning and chucking it down with rain now and dark dark skies. Back to the tennis and EF then.

The showers are pretty funky, just had a 20 sec shower, super strong. I was expecting hails, maybe laters, it's blue sky again for a min.

My 43 kg dog is trying to wrap herself around my neck! She is abso terrified of thunder, poor thing.

My old cairn terrier was such a fearless little bugger that he used to go out and bark at the thunder. Then he'd realise he was getting wet and run back inside. Then there'd be another flash of lightning and he'd be out barking again. Then he'd realise he was getting wet and run back inside.

And so on, for as long as the storm lasted.

I miss the little sodpot, I do.

I've had three Cairn terriers and they all went out and barked at the thunder. Brilliantly fearless little buggers.

Rain in Neuchatel is now so heavy I feel like I'm back in Glasgow.

It just went through here as well, very strong storms, with a heavy duty rain. And I gota get my butt out, urg. And dislike carrying an umbrella, it's so sissy.
