The lack of humanness in some of the posts in this thread disturbs me.
After everything is said and done, we are human.
And being human is having a heart to help those in need.

I sincerely hope I don't ever need help from you guys.
I guess "cutting someone some slack" does not exist in your world.
They no doubt work in one or other of some delightful corporate arena here.
Showing any empathy, selflessness or humanity to others is a serious disadvantage in those environments.

We all make mistakes..... But honestly: Getting caught without a ticket and starting to cry? Not a case for mercy.... poor moms. She MUST have been stressed out and cannot possibly have done something wrong...

You have no idea why she cried do you? She may of been faking or alternatively & more likely, she was having a particuarly crap day - dealing with some serious medical or personal problems for example - and this was the last straw.
I hope you need a helping hand one day for whatever reason and someone gives it to you and you see what the normal everyday decency you seem to be lacking, looks like.

To conclude that she "more likely has serious medical problems" is complete bullshit.

And for your judgement on my decency: KISS MY ASS.
