You have no idea why she cried do you? She may of been faking or alternatively & more likely, she was having a particuarly crap day - dealing with some serious medical or personal problems for example - and this was the last straw.
I hope you need a helping hand one day for whatever reason and someone gives it to you and you see what the normal everyday decency you seem to be lacking, looks like.
