[Baking] Cream of tartar

I just bought 5g of cream of tartar at the local pharmacy and it costs Sfr.3!!! Incredibly expensive....

Tried its substitutions, both white vinegar and lemon juice, but they don't work as good as it....

Da naa ...

[will also turn out to be "pound-for-pound" expensive, if you don't order other goods that make their standard postage rate worthwhile]

Thanks, TiMow.
Yet another thing I don't have to remember to buy in London.

For such a small amount? Not a surprise, think about all the work to measure, pack, and sell this spoon full of cream of tartar. Ask for 500g it will be more like 15 Sfr.
