| | Voltage in Switzerland - Got DJ mixer from USA
Sorry if this has been asked too many times, just want to confirm after bad experience
I have a DJ Mixer from the USA - On the side of the box, it has the sticker ticked next to 115V
What does that mean? What do I need to connect it up here? A volt adaptor? Or just normal plug?
Thanks

its means it 110v, eg, it works in the USA not here
You'll need a stepdown transformer, lots of threads about them on here, including at least 3 in the past week

Most electrical equipment comes with a voltage switch nowadays, check your manual, you might have to open it up.

According to this:
it's powered by 10VAC, not 115, so you must have a 115 VAC to 10 VAC transformer block.
Either buy a 230 VAC to 10 VAC transformer block, or get a 230 VAC to 115 VAC transformer, 5W minimum.
Tom

Just goto the local DJ music store and get them to order you a Numark 10VAC adapter, it will be a standard part.

no, its a kick in the teeth for people bothering to try to help, and just means
a) people ignore you
b) people stop bothering to help others
as for your passing comment, are you 12??

What's funny about deliberate rudeness to strangers attempting to resolve your problem? Using your reasoning your request is just a 'request' so why bother posting if you sincerely weren't interested?
There are many helpful contributors on EF. Please stand inside the tent and piss outwards, rather than outside pissing inwards. Thanks.
