I have no idea, I don't even know how that works, I assume on a groan and thank basis??

I know a ruffled a few feathers on the anti-smoking thread. Then there are also little EF cliques, whereby one person will takw the piss (or have banter), then you banter back and they get upset and then all their buddies join in and get uptight and groan at you too, then you banter with them and they get upset. Some people like to give but cant take.

I am not too fussed about it. I have helped potentially house someone, employ someone, and given good advice on tax related issues, so I think some people value me, hahahaha

Thanks!

So yes, as expected, it was the usual suspects I expected, the anti smoking brigade, some user who likes to use repetitive words, OMG and freaking to emphasize their point and got all stuck up when I said chillax and another dude who took a non believing stance to my contribution and after trying to banter with him his EF pals tried to stand up for him and he bad rep'd me. All I said was he must be envious.

It's ok, I like my EF but it's not my life

You care enough to now give rep to other users . I bad repped you because you are putting your dog in danger, which has nothing to do with anti-smoking-brigade-ism, more a case of "pro-responsible-pet-owner-ism".

I have read through some of the posts on this thread with great interest. I can feel for some of you lovely ladies out there, I really can.

With that in mind, and with me being the selfless, giving type of guy that I am, I will happily offer myself up as a solution to your man problems.

I am rich in looks (think uncle Bulgaria), personality and am blessed wonderful sense of fun (You should see what I can do with a ball of wool, tweed and a decent pattern).

Drop me a line and let me complete you.

The love professor.
You are a Womble?

My dog is not in danger, but thank you for your concern. What was funny about that moment when he was a young pup was as I reached to grab my cigarettes he awoke from my lap excitedly wondering if a treat was incoming. As he curiously sniffed at the box I jokingly said, "what, you want one?" and he took it in his mouth and held it long enough for me to get over laughing and pose for pic. Didn't even attempt to chew it. But don't worry, he's still alive a year later and he's down to 5 a day now ;-)

I bad rep'd u to conduct an EF experiment, on the basis of finding a post I found a disliking to, for whatever inane reason I chose. Interestingly each and every one of you sent me personal mesg's whining about an attempt to derail your rep's.

This somewhat justifies my point before about the EF cliques and those who feel they are the gods of the forum and no one dare challenge their status.

You could have also asked your friends whether their ex-boyfriends were good lovers, conversationalists, exciting, funny and so on and come to the same conclusion... or, if you don't get it, most people blame everything that was bad in a relationship on their ex-partners, and your friends seem no exception. But as an independant observer I have to wonder how long it takes for some people to figure out that someone is boring...

"Oh, I just left him after four months... he was soooo boring".

Whenever someone complains about their previous partners I mentally translate that to poor judgment and selective perception, and or lack of objective judgement and stay clear of said person.
This is a good point. The last girlfriend I had before I met my wife wasn't boring. She was a bit of a psycho. It was very exciting.

Needless to say, my wife is more boring and I, for one, am very comfortable with my "less exciting partner."

Interestingly, I have done more globe hopping with this "boring" woman than I ever would have done with any of my other previous partners.

Truth is people need to decide what they actually want for themselves and stop letting other people tell them what that "something" actually is.
