After more than 8 pages it's time to tell the truth. Swiss women really do have teeth in their vaginas. Now get over it.

Thank god you don't get a set of "fanny fangs" with the Swiss-passport. That would be one integration step too far for this gal! | Quote: | | | | | After more than 8 pages it's time to tell the truth. Swiss women really do have teeth in their vaginas. Here: Results are in boys..
To sum it up: The poll was filled out by 15.000 women on the Internet.
WOMEN. ON. THE. INTERNET...
All this poll says is:
- the telegraph is really low on quality. They should rather hack some phones and come up with interesting stuff instead...
- Spanish, Brazilian and Italian men are so bored in the office that they fill out some web polls. I guess they don't have EF there.

Snob - can't you use a bit of 2nd-order reasoning and link the content of the previous posts and find out why such thing is post here (again)?
Let's sort it: I was mentioning the aspect of well-order of the Swiss, you said that Germans aren't very different, and Helm said she found Germans messy, which happened to remind me this poll, not regarding the topic itself but rather the reasons inside each bracket, which is kind of supporting Helm's argument. (no personal opinion or offense here)
In spite of the quality of telegraph, polls are everywhere on the news websites, main or smaller ones. One can't deny that internet poll is one of the modern efficient way to collect data. Any statistics can give a chance of bias and have stereotype in it. A poll like this, as said in the original thread, was rather for "amusing" than anything serious. It is the same for my previous posts, only joking since the beginning. It's fine if you don't find it joking. That is our culture differences.
BTW, I don't know if the Spanish, Brazilian and Italian men are really so bored to fill out the poll for them being the best lovers, but I'm sure no men on the "worst" list would have done so. | Quote: | | | | | Newbies - can't you use the search function and discuss the topic in the correct thread

| | Re: Swiss men | Quote: | | | | | Why so many Swiss men marry a foreign woman? | | | | | Swiss women are unbearable on the long term as almost all women, but Swiss women in particular. Swiss men are very macho even the Swiss german, we gave the right to vote very late, there were terrible laws against women about nationality, etc. until few years ago. So we want at the end a companion who stay home with the kids and not a career woman.
Furthermore, Swiss men have money and with money you can have the best exotic ladies marry you jejejeej

[QUOTE=Sandgrounder;1258178]Could it be that seeing as you are an expat, the majority of people you know are also expat and a fair few of them could be here because of a Swiss partner or met one whilst here. Maybe if your circle of friends was primarily Swiss the numbers of foreign partnerships might shift..?
I have equal circle of Swiss/foreign friends, I'm just saying what I see. Which is exactly what I stated in the above post.

God, that was a lot to read!
I wanted to quote on soooo many things but instead kept on reading.
So I will try to sum up what I was thinking whilst reading the thread.
I have been a swiss woman for 31 years now, am not skinny at all and have an english boyfriend. (Not sure bout the fanny fangs... )
IMHO I think swiss men older than about 35 are more backward than swiss women.
They want a home, a wife to come home to, kids, a house with a white fence and a bloody labrador... nice dreams (exept for the labrador). Unfortunately I don't know a lot of swiss women who share those dreams. They want life, career, fun, action, maybe a husband and kids but it's not the main thing anymore. because we realized, that we can choose and we will...
so, yes maybe swiss men do look for foreign women who share their dreams and wishes, fair enough.
I couldn't cope with swiss men anymore either and turned my back on them.
But doesn't matter, does it? as long people are happy with their partners?

If a man doesn't love you the way you are, it's not going to work. You can try and try and try. For the sake of the kids, for financial reasons, or whatever. But in the end, you'll go to bed lonely, angry and full of knowledge that the person doesn't love you. It might be your fault, it might not.
Take that step and leave. Emotional abuse is worse than being alone. And reach out to your friends. You are worth it.
Yes, this message was more for me after another difficult evening, but maybe it will help others too. Love is so special but one has to be open and honest with themselves before getting real love.
Wishing you all a peaceful evening.

At the end of the day.... they want the security of a home and loving support from their wives and kids.
It's not really backwards.
.... with time, perhaps you may realize, that we women, we usually end up wanting the same thing.
It's a success when both agree to evolve together.

I sometimes miss being able to hop on my motorbike and disappear, and I may have to admit that I might never sail around the World, but I wouldn't trade coming home to my little family for anything.

If she isn't, this will be outsourced... I would be prepared to go for a traditional role model if I didn't think I'd come out of it being older, poorer and broken hearted.
