Does anyone know of a good rental company for food stand rentals like http://www.top-events.ch, but close to Zurich? I need to rent a tent, tent flooring, table, front barrier i.e. bar, fryer, extension cord and hand wash system.

I don't know of any apart from Top Events, and they do deliver to Zurich.

BTW thanks so much for your food stand info and help. I ended up selling at Caliente and had an awesome time. It was just difficult to find rental equipment to make my booth look great. I'm trying to get it together for Street Parade now.

I've never used them but have seen them at another event. The link you supplied has a map showing they deliver to ZH, best get in touch and ask them.

The stand number is 410 and it's right in front of the Kongresshaus at the corner of General-Guisan-Quai and Claridenstrasse. Just follow the scent of sweet fried treats.

UPDATE: The stand is open, will remain open until midnight, and - so I'm told by my chuffed-to-bits-to-eat-a-funnel-cake-in-Switzerland-at-last wife - the funnel cakes are delicious.

If you're in Zurich and can face the scrummage to get to the stall, it's at Burkliplatz, opposite the tramstop on the lake side of the road.
