Use your Euros for Swiss parking meters

Because the exchange rate is so low, using Euros for parking meters can actually be cheaper than using Swiss Francs.

Re: Use your Euros for Swiss parking meters

In my home town of Vilnius, Lithuania - most people pay the parking
meters via SMS. You simply get a bar coded sticker you put on your
windshield, and register it your mobile/SIM card. One pays via SMS,
and when your time expires, you can get a reminder message, and
you can reply to extend it.

There's a vending machine at work has a fixed exchange rate of 1.4 CHF = 1 €. What's cool is that you can fill it with Euro coins, press "reject" and it returns the money in Swiss Franks. Must remember to take more Euros to work tomorrow!

With this and your EasyJet thing, you're on the verge of single-handledly bringing down this nation's economy.

I also buy my Lindt chocolate in London and re-import it. I've not tried to reclaim the UK VAT on it yet
