First 2 days

So I have been in Zurich now for the past two days and going to start work on Tuesday. My wife is visiting some family in Wisconsin and will join me in 3 weeks. Few things I have noticed so far. The Swiss must be on a quest to keep cigarette companies in business, and I think I will lose 20 pounds here due to the price of food and all the lunch specials seem to be Wurst with fries in a brown onion gravy. I lived here when I was little but forgot about most of that. Should be fun and I am looking forward to meeting all of you at some point for a drink or 10.

Welcome! Try buying a salad for lunch. Look for Manor restaurants which serve healthier meals.

No kidding, everyone seems to run around with Red Bull or some M budget type energy drink.

Ittigen: Thanks, will check out Manor.

Odile: Rob a bank? j/k

The high cost of fat food should keep your body in equilibrium.

Yes, the Swiss smoke like chimney's.... especially females

Glad to hear you are settling in well.

Good luck for your first week of work. Always great to start with a 'short week'..... enjoy
