Recycling
If you don't put anything in your official refuse sack with your name (and/or address) you can put almost anything you like in it as it can't be traced.
If you mean "throw the garbage in a regular bag rather than an official one", then it's wrong on so many levels. If you mean trash in the recycling bins, that is also wrong on so many levels.

Some of your tips are excellent, but there's a couple that are just inappropriate (especially the non-validated ticket).

I do understand that the idea is to be light-hearted or funny, but it's not. Kind of reminded me of the bad Lars von Triet joke attempt in Cannes. It was well intended, but it doesn't work.

Asking For Discounts
DON'T BOTHER TRYING!

HiggyBaby
The OH has lived here for a year now and soon after moving he sold our car and took up his love for motorbikes. This means that when we need the use of a car we have to hire. He's been hiring from the same company in town all this time, and one day, long ago, I asked him what the name of the chap is who owns the firm and is usually the one who deals with us - he didn't know!
I said it was awful, "get to know him by name, it's rude and he's so nice to us." (sometimes if we return late, way after office hours, we're asked to leave the key in said designated area, and the bill gets sorted out the following day).
Anyway, since OH addressed the chap by name, every two months or so he gives us a considerable discount!!! - And we never asked, bonus!

Another bonus: One night, on returning the car we failed to empty the boot fully. We'd left two pieces of expensive camera equipment in there. Didn't even realize until OH went to sort out the bill the following day - he broke out into a sweat when the chap handed him the equipment!!

We gotta love this country and not abuse it! (Not having a go at you, mind!)

Well, WE don't have "official" bags here, so it just suffices to move somewhere that doesn't have "official" bags, problem solved!
