Just wear something skimpy. It's always appreciated...

E.T.A. - Oops. Just noticed the "Mrs says". Get her to wear the skimpies
She is not here. Do you want to come over instead? Don't forget to bring your hot outfit with you

Actually, mimi is waiting at home this morning for an Ikea delivery.

I withdraw any advice I may have given earlier....

The only room they won't be working in is the kitchen. The kitchen is packed with stuff from all the other empty rooms so I can't disappear there. So my question is what do I do when they assemble all the items? Do I stand and observe them or help them?
back in my uni. days I occasionaly worked as handyman / painter etc and there was nothing worse than the homeowner offering advice or even worse "help"
ask politely then stay outta their way.

the occasional blow job instead of a cash tip never went unappreciated however.

EDIT... oops.... I just noticed that Mirfield noticed that "sun&rain" appears to be a guy ( gotta macho up that name dude )

and...........skip the offer of the BJ

Well the Ikea men this morning almost got more than an eyeful.

When they say they'll ring 15 mins before arriving I wish they would. Jumping out of bed half asleep, butt naked, is not a look one wishes to greet people at the door with.

Re: TLC for IKEA delivery men?

I had CHF50 sitting in my back pocket for tip but decided against it as I actually ended up helping them a lot during the installation process.
I kept them fell fed and watered up.

Quiet a few large items were damaged so have to wait for replacement. Worst of all IKEA lady messed up the order so some large items were completely missing. Right now I feel as if IKEA stamped on my balls. Patience is a virtue and I have got plenty of it. All will be good eventually.

Re: TLC for IKEA delivery men?

I just moved one of the damaged item from one corner of the bedroom to the other and all I can say is HOLY BATMAN GHOST! I almost snapped my back in two. How a skinny short guy could take it to the top floor really beats me. He carried up similar stuff for hours.

Re: TLC for IKEA delivery men?

Since last friday we are in the Ikea buying, carrying, building.

We bought so many furniture and it is all bloody heavy. We didn't ask for delivery but rent a van instead. You should have seen how my strong husband carried them all and this while fasting!

We have been building, building and building! I wish we did took the delivery and set up but in the same time, I LOVE to build Ikea furniture! I should start a new career and do this for living and for fun!
