I started with a simple die cut and embossing machine, but I am not really happy with the size - it is too small for many of cards.
Now a friend of mine (an engineer) is making me a wider device. So when he will finish it, I will be using both, depends on the paper size I am going to use.
Another table and bench made from reclaimed wood. It will live on a covered (narrow) balcony so is fairly heavily oiled, hence the slightly yellow colour, this will fade in time.

Contemporary 'travel' posters. I love old travel posters and want to create series to celebrate living in Switzerland. This one is the Niederuster ferry landing on the Greifensee. I am now working on the view across Zurich from the Lindenhof. Created as vector files, they look great in high-resolution poster size. It would be nice to sell them as postcards and posters.

I've just got myself an encaustic wax painting set (having used it some time ago in occupational therapy sessions). Today I had my first attempt at creating landscape pictures, as opposed to the abstract ones I've done before.
The first is an attempt to picture the way Lake Geneva looks when a storm is coming across from one side ... the rain is coming from the right hand side of the picture.
The second was inspired by the weather today - we had a 'mer du brouillard', and on the train this morning I was struck by the beauty of the bare trees against that huge off-white expanse... and how the autumn colours seem dim and muted.

Bit of a random post here but see pics of a homemade television wall stand. I wasn't too happy with all the Ikea options as I really wanted a red backdrop for the tv.
If anyone wants full details of how to do this, they can pm me. It's much cheaper than buying one too.
But as a simple summary - it consists of four Ikea magnet boards and a run-of-the-mill tv wall hanger. The magnet boards were cut to accommodate the tv and then an easy wall frame made of wood was fashioned and painted red, to which the magnet boards were attached.
Below is a wee tabletop stand you can make using Ikea legs and a small door you purchase separately. There's a red Ikea Lack box on each side - one to hold various adapters and entertainment related paraphernalia and the other firewood (tv sits on the same wall beside an old fireplace).
P.S. Sorry about the image on the right being flipped. Not sure why it did that after uploading.

Oh lovely. I`m also not too keen on the left hand one, but the right one is beautiful! You seem to have captured a "feeling" - well done!
