Re: What do you make? Show us your stuff...

I just painted this ........ Our house is next to a dog-walking path up to the forest and people let their dogs off the leash as they reach our house, doggy runs into garden, poops, and owners seem reluctant to trespass to pick it up?
I hope they get the message!

Re: What do you make? Show us your stuff...

And then I painted this rock, to get my mind off the doggy poo!

The backside has a cave entrance to a garden, but the photo came out not nice, I need to work on that side some more.

Re: What do you make? Show us your stuff...

Hi everyone! Sooo many talented people! Thanks to all of you : )
Ok, please have a look at my creations:
http://www.etsy.com/shop/SilkFlowerA...ry?ref=si_shop

I create flower accessories in Japanese somebana techniques. "Somebana" in Japanese language means "Painted Flower". It is a traditional technique of creating flowers from specially presized all-white Japanese silk fabrics manufactured just for flowermaking and using professional Japanese tools. This technology exists more then 30 years. The secret of this technique is in creating unique works of art and expressing spirituality.

I also sell tutorials in this particular technique:

Any questions, comments, observations - you are very welcome !

Thank you so much for those inspiring words!

This is such a nice thread to "show off" what we make. I think that everyone who makes anything creative always needs a bit of affirmation?

One doesn`t often have the opportunity to display one`s creations to the public, so having some feedback on this thread is just so nice.

I`m absolutely amazed at the various talents displayed here!
And these are just things we make. There are members here (I know of, and have heard of), who have talents not so readily displayable, it`s inherent in their personalities ( which is much more valuable, as a person).

Cropwell Bishop Stilton, a whole Stinking Bishop, a whole Godminster Cheddar and a baby Oxford College White. The stalk of the pear on top holds the ribbons, then there's figs, grapes and dried sour cherries around the base. I usually do them for weddings but this was for a friends birthday party. Apparently it disappeared in 20 minutes!
