Lovely box. Maybe you could stick some felt material on the inside so your bits & pieces won't rattle around if you carry it somewhere.
Still searching for the right felt actually!

I buy self adhesive felt in sheets to use on the feet of furniture I make, I get if from Migros Hobby but any hardware store should have it if you look near the screw and bolt section. Nice work by the way.

Latest painting: "Eigergletscher" (acrylic on canvas, 30 x 40cm). Beautiful source material (photo) provided by EF member "Hobs". It was a "commission" of sorts...

Thanks! No, I don't. As I really only started in earnest a few years ago, have much to learn and have little time to dedicate to it in between other stuff in my life - so I am not quite there yet. I do, however, have an amateur landscape painters' blog at www.humbledauber.com with a gallery. Starting small...

Thanks for encouragement and the link - I will keep it in mind as I learn and (hopefully) grow in it over the next few years...

More of a compliment: I showed them, they ooohed and ahhhed and wanted to run into the garden and dig through the snow and find some smooth stones for painting!

Will enjoy reading your blog. I am print maker (well on and off!) and love your paintings … makes me feel like getting my sketch book out! Good luck!

Here comes more, if they are big enough to use acrylic colours. Some shell paintings for more fun.

A work in progress...

Many weird joints cut only with chisels. All of these go together of course...but what will it be in the end?

Re: What do you make? Show us your stuff...

Finished!

Table lamp, titled: "Low Hanging Fruit"

Red oak finished with wax. All hand crafted (no power tools). Features the ubiquitous jam jar that is usually tossed into the recycle bin. Old joinery methods are juxtaposed against modern tech: 15w omnidirectional LED bulb shaded by tumbled glass beads (to like the marmalade that used to be in the jar...especially when the lamp is on).

The landscape paintings indeed are beautiful . I used to paint during my college days. But then it's been long I have painted one.
