I came on here to post one of my pastels, but got totally distracted by Smoky's brilliant waves.
Anyway, here is my latest effort... a mountain stream in autumn near Melchsee-Frutt; started in October last year, finally completed today after a long and bitter struggle ;-)

newest painting: "Falls at Ruine Wildenburg" (acrylic 60cm x 80cm).
This is a beautiful little hike/outing for those of you in the area of Kanton Zug, and the 800 year old ruins hidden in the forest are delightful surprise! http://www.mamilade.ch/zentralschwei...inden-bei-baar | The following 2 users would like to thank M_McPoyle for this useful post: | |

A few years ago I taught myself how to knit. Gifted family members ornaments for Christmas and they were very well received. This year I am trying my hand at shawls, wool caps and scarves.. Grateful for Youtube tutorials (that I can pause repeatedly till I get a hang of a new pattern)

My bikes!
Built the steel frame from a United Bicycle Institute course (Oregon).
Did the rattle-can paint job myself - always was a sucker for flames!
When I moved to Germany I didn't want to run any risks with fire, so made my second frame from bamboo and hemp
cheers,
dave

So much great stuff from this group! I used to be quite creative BC (before children) but somehow I am still waiting for that free time to re-emerge...

Hello.
My hobby is electronics. So I make electronic devices.
Lately I've been working on a FM radio / alarm clock.
The electronic part is ready, all it needs now is a box.
I will keep me occupied during those long winter afternoons.

Not as good as some of the art on here but here's mine. It's a present for my Mother In Law for supporting me through a tricky year. Hopefully she likes it!

Been playing around with some different ideas for necklaces recently... mainly crocheted but some other styles. All photographed by a very talented friend!
