I'm in awe of people who can draw and paint like that and express something because my capability is limited to stick figures! (I'm more of a word person and I'm into crochet and cross stitch, but it isn't the same!).
Do you do commissioned pieces at all?

Oh, I see that Dreamlands one (in your post here) is for sale. I'm sorely tempted....
Will check whether my hubby likes it too and get back to you. We're off to the UK for five days (leaving tonight!), but I'll be in touch when we get back.
Given that you're in Baden, would love to catch up with another creative soul anyway. We're pretty close and I'm in Baden a couple of times a week at least for my German lessons...

Really lovely things everyone... I am also not very arts and crafts oriented... but I always try and join the local band. Once a week, time away from the family and express my love for music with the local Swiss (That's me playing the bassoon ) | The following 6 users would like to thank Puhutes for this useful post: | |

I haven't played in an ensemble (used to be in an orchestra) since I was in school!
I do play guitar and sing though and I can't wait for our things to arrive (only 2-3 weeks now, YAY) so I'll have my guitar here.

I've started to paint & hand-print alphabets for kids rooms. The first one was for my son (see pic) and I'm currently working on an alphabet of linocuts for a friend. I've also made some bespoke paintings of children's names (see pics). Lots of ideas and little time to execute them with a 15 month old toddler!
A few questions if anyone can help...
Nic80 - I really love your letterpress work. Do you make the photopolymer plates yourself or get them made for you? Would you offer a letterpress course maybe!?? I have another idea for a project and I quite fancy trying photopolymer plates for it though I have no idea how practical this is.
Super soft lino??? Anyone know where to get this in Switzerland (I usually get it from Amazon UK)? I've tried Opitec but theirs is too textured and not quite the same.
Okay, sorry for the questions but thought some of you like-minded people might be able to help.
Oh, and I've really enjoyed looking at everyone's work - the variety is incredible.
