Funny.... got up several times during the night, didn't hear anything. It must have been very local and just around Geneva.

Re: Thunder Storm [Geneva]

A biggie swept over Fribourg about 2.30ish. Almost constant thunder and some pretty impressive lightning.

which pub is open at 02h19?
the storm kept the missus and the dog up all night - apparently, because i slept right through it - so there are a few grumpies around the house this morning

I love a good storm. I will often sit on the balcony with a beer to watch it go by.
I might even wear some clothes too if it's chilly.

Whitters has no particular reputation at present
Re: Thunder Storm [Geneva]

A huge one for a couple of hours over Nyon.

Unfortunately my dog is petrified of storms (and fireworks, starter pistols from the Tuesday night regatta on the lake, and so on), so he kept us awake until about 2.30 last night.

Re: Thunder Storm [Geneva]

I am reliably informed by my OH that it was pretty spectacular over Neuchâtel too and he watched it for ages. My son and I happily slept through it and didn't hear a thing.
