Skilled labour shortage in europe

Hi All,

my son is 24 years old and is about to complete his Sanitär/Klempner/Plumbing qualification. He asked me if there is a skills shortage for this type of career in Europe and of course I don not know. I tried searching EF but came up blank, like me

Any idea

Many thanks
Gregg

Given the level of building activity in Zurich, I am sure there is a demand for plumbers.

Perhaps he could shoot his CV to a few plumbing companies and building companies.

depends if he wears a belt and can keep his pants up. That's a skill that many plumbers are lacking.

Thanks for that. He is quite a skinny ass so Ill tell him to put a hose clamp around the waist.

What I omitted is that he has a South African passport, hence the shortage question. He would like to be close to his Pops.
