YES,

walk from the HBF (exit mcdonalds) and turn half right and walk roughly towards the lake, You are looking for banhofbrucke and zurich central (tram stop)

at central, do not turn right and walk along the river, but almost parallel to that is a pedestrian cobbled street, walk up there for kebabs, pubs and a late night cinema.

good luck

In the future there is always Burger King in case you get hungry again. Was there at 2am last night did wonders for curing my hangover the next day

For an hour?

Wouldnt work for me - he is one of my heros - for his visions & determination - statue is of Alfred Escher. More info on the German Option.

You could always write an app? The revenue created from this would pay for your taxi home next time?

You're probably home already, but you could have posted in the complaints section about how inconvenient the transportation system is that you have to wait for an hour for your next train. And how the variety of things to do around HB at 4am is so limited.

ahhh.. sorry to hear you had to hang out there. I spend this year many hours at MD at night with the same problem. 60 min to waste away - clubs already closed, and trains/trams not yet running. Don't know any alternatives..

Hope you didn't get bored by the selection and you found the courage to try some of the conversation - lines we practised

You're lucky.

I once had to spend the night in Zug station, with only salt and vinegar crisps and Curly-Wurlies to sustain me.

The worst thing was that I had a raging thirst, but no loose change to buy something from the snack dispensers. You'd be amazed how much moisture one can extract from a Curly-Wurly when there's no alternative.

I've never willingly been to Zug since.

If you are the kind of guy that hangs around stations asking for spare change then Zugers without change of a 400000chf note will be unable to help.
