Online shopping for Aveda products from Strawberrynet.com

Mods feel free to move if this is in the wrong spot.

The Aveda salons here is so outragously expensive that I am thinking of ordering some Aveda hair products from www.eu.Strawberrynet.com but am a bit concerned about whether or not the products are truly genuine. Has anyone here ordered any cosmetics, in particular Aveda hair products from this company? If so what was your experience with ordering from them?

Many thanks.

Not sure about strawberrynet.com, but you can contact Aveda Customer service directly, and they will tell you what online shops sells authentic Aveda products, and ships internationally. www.Aveda.com

That was a good suggestion and I did contact Aveda directly. Unfortunately they do not ship outside of the USA and just directed me to their Aveda stores here in Switzerland. As it seems to be typical here the Aveda salon is not passing on any savings from the exchange rate differences on their products. I guess I'll have to look for another brand.

kmsc_1 has no particular reputation at present
Re: Online shopping for Aveda products from Strawberrynet.com

I've used strawberrynet to buy Laura Mercier and it was definitely the genuine article. They also put in a little selection of freebie samples.
Delivery time was fine. They promise to reimburse any import duty but I didn't need to put that to the test since it wasn't charged by customs.

I've also used Strawberrynet. Products are genuine and arrive quickly. I've never been charged tax either but usually make sure I order things seperately -makes no difference as shipping is free/included. I think if you do get charged tax you can even get them to refund it! Not sure about the admin fees though.

In the event that you are charged VAT, we will reimburse you for your expense. We emphasize this is on a goodwill basis, not on an obligation basis. If you are charged, please collect the package, pay any fees due and submit a VAT refund form, including your customs receipt. Please note that this service is not available for orders shipped to China.

The link above does not seem to work. Let's see if this one is better.
