Please help. My parents will be flying in from US tomorrow and I will be picking them up. I will have no way of getting in touch with them when they land. Can anyone help me figure out which way I should drive and where they should come out so that we can meet ?

Thanks.
Forgive me for asking, but how old are you. Did they leave you home alone?

Re: Pick up at the Zurich Airport

Just after the Gubrist tunnel drive 10 more minutes.
You will find your signal Flughafen exactly 700 metres before taking the exit on your left.

Just use Parking 1 or 2.

Good luck.

Be nice to her . Maybe she doesn't have a GPS or thinks ZH airport is as huge as Heathrow.

Even Heathrow doesn't require a GPS - just follow the signs!

OK yeh Im sorry. A more constructive post may have been to advise to leave bread crumbs for the return leg.

I was wondering how many hours a day you are allowed out on your own and who dresses you in the morning? Can you tie shoe laces or do you have velcro?

Re: Pick up at the Zurich Airport

I get people to call or text me while they are in the baggage hall. By the time i drive there they are through to the arrivals and waiting for ME !

I don't use the carparks at the airport too much bloody confusion to keep going round in circles, but just park on the 15min meters directly outside arrivals. Watch out for the Police waiting to book you for going over though!

Re: Pick up at the Zurich Airport

Just in case, if you can read German, French or Italian go to

www.tcs.ch and request an itinerary. This will include a full description of the journey with all signs, kms, timings, costs, etc.
