Could anyone please tell me where I can buy powdered juices (if at all these exist). Internet search gives me some websites in UK. Any one knows any local shop etc

never heard of such a thing except for Tang (and I don't really consider it to be juice). Do you have any brands to help us have an idea of what you mean?

i have also never heard of it, but maybe if you ask at the supermarket as if it exists then they will know about it!

It was a real hit in the 1970s. Kelloggs and others made it - it was the latest thing but nowadays you can buy fresh juice.

I think they were around here already in the sixties but disappeared after a few years, presumably due to low demand.

I'm pretty sure I saw powdered water in one of the shops in Glarus town. They might have powdered juices, too. Although I may have dreamt it.

Yeah .... I remember that -- sachets of bitty powder. Very acidic on the back of the throat if I remember rightly.

Do you mean that stuff that contains anything but juice, but is nevertheless sold as "juice" in developing countries and cheap hotels, especially in the arab world?

To be fair, aren't they pretty much all made from "concentrate"? I haven't looked lately, but I'm sure I read that on most juice cartons in the supermarket I checked.

Most of them were. But I recall that the powdered juice was totally synthetic.

Before we had children, we used to squeeze our own orange juice every morning.

My wife purchased some powdered "iced tea" in Migros (or Coop).

Concentrate is much better than "powdered" though (if such a thing exists)....at least in "from concentrate" juice, many of the things that are lost in the concentration process (oils, volatiles....the things that add the flavour) are added back to the liquid. In powdered, that can't happen

No, just as in the USA, some are made from concentrate, others aren't. But, according to my taste buds, the cheapest American orange juice made from concentrate is still way better than the most expensive non-concentrate juice here in Switzerland.

When I gain weight in the USA (and I always do!), it's because of the cheap and excellent orange juice, not because of triple cheeseburgers and 12 oz. steaks.
