Anyone used Webstamp from Die Post?

I was just looking at the Webstamp service offered by Post.ch

If my German understanding is right, it allows you to set up and print your own labels including franking, and pay for it all online. It seems you can even have the postie pick the parcel up from your house - you don't even have to drop it off at the post office. This sounds like a great idea in theory, as for me the local Post Office opening times don't fit in with my work hours too well.

Has anybody used this themselves? Any good?

I'd also be interested to know if anyone else has used this service too.

Wasn't sure from your post if you are aware that the details are also available in English. As is the "Factsheet WebStamp" pdf on that webpage.

I've used it for printing stamps. They all arrived at their destination so it seems to have worked. You'll need to print them on to sticker paper or otherwise cut them out and glue them on. Not sure about the postie picking them up though?

Edit- from the website: parcels franked with WebStamp will be collected from your premises by the postal carrier for an additional fee.

Re: Anyone used Webstamp from Die Post?

I've used it. I printed the stamps straight onto the envelope. You're able to drop them straight into the mailbox. For packages you can tally up the charges with their calculator and then drop them at the post office. They check the weight and size and the transaction takes less than a minute. It's very handy.

If the postage is incorrect on the envelope they send you a bill asking you to add the correct postage and send it back. Your letter still arrives at its destination.

Re: Anyone used Webstamp from Die Post?

Yes, it was the parcel service that got my attention. For letters I already have sheets of stamps so I just drop the letter in the postbox on the way to work. But if I can avoid having to take parcels to the post office that would be a real help.
