Ok, so did ANYONE, read the Fowarding letter written by the President of Migros?
He starts off with how many hours kids spend attached to some electronic device, (T.V. Playstation) And that its a pity that they are not out more. So he hopes that this book will get the kids more interested in Nature again.
I interpreted it as it will also encourage your kids to go out and swap and trade sticker with other kids, thus promoting social skills. not to mention getting your kids out of the house.;)

And here we are trading stickers for our kids online!

...yes, while the kids themselves are outside, playing with friends, doing sports and socialising. :D (at least, I know this to be true about the kids I am helping).

Personally I think this book has a lot more to offer to kids than the mere sticker swapping experience. I like its educational value and informative contents, which is the reason why I decided to get the book and stickers as a gift for my nephew (who doesn't even live in Switzerland and so wouldn't have access to them unless I got them for him)

Just for information for everyone - the big Migros at M-Parc in Basel had a sticker exchange stand in the entrance today - hundreds of children and parents queueing up with their duplicates to swap, it was manned by Migros employees and seemed to be doing a roaring trade. It may be worth enquiring at other stores to see if they have something similar lined up.

Thanks to all the lovely people on this thread (namely Uchi, Lucia, Verbier , Roschti and Terhi) plus Aussie Kev we have now completed our album. Woohoo.

I am sending some doubles to Terhi, Claire, Verbia and Glinaa Bijoy (sp??) today and the rst of the doubles will go to Roschti.

Thanks for your help everyone. After all the petty squables and back biting going on over the past few days and the strange atmosphere on here it's nice to know that we are still able to help each other out and keep the community spirit alive.
