The first one was near work
The second was a view just 1 km away from my old flat

Not to difficult to figure out
Ummm? Where is this, Sky? It is stunningly beautiful (and very special)!

As someone who lives near Middlesbrough, I'm curious to hear about where this Middlesborough might be...

Why thank you.... I spent a while waiting to take the first picture (lac de Gruyère, Tours d'Ogoz in the distance)

One second, I'll go find the other one I took on the boat from the Island of Ogoz to the shore

No really it's a nice little excursion.... there are a few locals who rent their boats to take you across to the island and verse you in the fairytale of the unrequited love legend that surrounds the medieval towers. And those pics were taken from the boat.

With this one below

Close, Sky! - it's the Queen Elizabeth (not QE2) on the Clyde, passing the bottom of the garden last week.

The Emerald Princess went by just as I was posting the pic of the QE

and the Queen Mary 2 is due tomorrow
.

Queen Elizabeth has one of the ugliest butts I've ever seen.

When the water level in the lake has dropped sufficiently, you can even walk to the island along a causeway.
