I took the picture with my phone on the first day we moved in, back in March. It has been lovely watching the mountains change through spring, summer and now autumn, as the snow melted, the alps turned green and then, this afternoon, the snow returned.

No matter how rough a day one has had at work, coming home to this always makes it worthwhile.

The view from my terrace today ... tomorrow, however, I will be facing a rather different view (London). Apologies for the wonky skyline - it is very windy up there, as can be seen from the sea!

We did the Harbour tour last year- amazing. We were so pleasantly surprised with the town and the whole of the island and its Northern cousin.

Ahh, so you will recognise the magnificent old Naval hospital then, with the unique lift that took wounded sailors from the shore up to the hospital!

Yes, the island has come a long way and has incredible natural beauty. Parts of it are still dusty building sites, but it will get there. I love Gozo too - a magical place
