The now sadly gone, but not forgotten Grossi was 96 when she died. She loved children and adored her kids, grand kids and great grand kids, at 5' 3" a Collosus of a human and seemed to epitomise the older generation in rural Switzerland. We still find that now and see far ruder old people in the UK than in CH.

Did you check her passport? She might have been an auslander originally.

personally I've never had any issues with the elderly here either. it's more the 20s-to-40s who are the snotty and we-are-locals-so-we-know-it-better-than-you type..
