I have purchased a lamp at
www.lampenprofi.ch, I did not open the box immediately upon delivery, as it was a present for my son who loves opening boxes. So we opened it the same day in the evening and it appeared to be:
- broken, a clear production defect, not fixable;
- the lamp in general is of extremely low quality (stickers instead of pictures, crappy metal), the super-cheap lamps from Conforama that I got when first arrived here were a piece of art and design compared to the thing I got from
www.lampenprofi.ch.
I would have a strong preference to get my money back from them.
I payed with Postfinance, so I can not cancel the payment as with credit card.
The seller insists that they do not do a refund, and wants me to send the defect lamp back to them at my cost, so that they send me the new without defect.
Do you know is there any way I can still get my money back? Is there a law regulating sale/online shopping I could appeal to get my money back?
quick correction, they have just agreed to refund the postal costs. I am still wondering if there is any law that allows to return the goods and get the refund if you are not happy with the quality.
