Swiss Break-through

So after much frustration, a spot of depression, a lot of adjustment and learning a new language (still in the process) I finally had my break through. Found a job, making friends and feeling a lot more comfortable, especially since I no longer need to start every conversation with a local with "Sprechen Sie Englisch?"

It definitely was not as easy as my partner made it out to be before I moved here, but hey nothing ever is that simple.

So this is just to let all the people struggling with adjusting here that its possible to get to a place where you are comfortable and happy despite certain "differences" to where ever you come from originally. You put enough effort into it, and you will attain your goal. Not saying all will go as planned, but life is more fun with the challenges and you learn and grow. Plus there are some pretty big advantages to living here compared to a lot of other places (including my homeland).
