Hi All,

Just joined and it's a very interesting forum for sure. Loads of good stuff but I could not find anything specific on the question below.

Anyway a male friend of mine has recently split with his wife, moved out and is on the verge of a divorce. There are 2 young children involved, the wife wants a quick divorce, and my mate is wondering to have a quick divorce or go with a 2 year separation as ultimately he wants to get back with her.

Both parties are in contact with a lawyer.

Can anyone advise the best course of action here ?
