plant guarantee

I went to the Jumbo garden center yesterday to buy some plants, conifers, for my balcony. At the register it turns out, to my surprise and that of the cashiers, that I get a 12 month guarantee on those plants! I guess Jumbo is pretty sure that they are quite frost and drought resistant.
Now ofcourse I'm tempted to do some experiments to test this resistance, but I guess that my default treatment of plants might be enough of a test...

Re: plant guarantee

Presumably you have to follow the manufacturer's instructions as any modification by the user invariably invalidates the warranty .

Re: plant guarantee

I don't fancy the cashier's chances .... especially if you start arguing over how old the plants were when you bought them...
