Sarcastic replies aside, funny as they might be, this thread could be really useful if we were honest: I've seen it on other forums whereby members declare their occupation and also if they would be available to exercise it in help of other members, should the need arise. This turned out great e.g. on some motoring forums, as people in (or going to) a city had a list of other forum members they could contact for help in case they broke down, or had a local question or wanted to do some diy work.

Applicable also to EF or bad idea?

And on-topic: i work in IT (software) and we're currently looking for developers (iOS, Python/Django, Html5/css3/js) and Ui/Ux designers, so if you're one or know one, PM me, I might be able to offer you a cool job
I like your general idea but prefer the blanket of anonymity as one could easily get in trouble for various reasons.

Bad idea. This is the EF forum and not another forum.

I teach students that there's life beyond Switzerland and not all Americans are bad. Sometimes we learn grammar too.

Well, if we're trying to help each other out, then I'm still a stay at home mom and trailing spouse. However, in my previous life in the States I was a certified elementary education teacher (K-5th grade) and a certified Deaf Education Teacher (birth-age 21). So, if your primary age child needs tutoring (in English) in grades K-5th or your deaf child needs tutoring in any subjects (in American Sign Language) birth-age 21, then I'm your girl :-)

You burn approximately 84~150 calories an hour, come one that is lot of work.

P.S: Calories count is not subjected to debate.

I took up reading as my profession. Shame it doesn't pay.

Other than that, hausfrau cum gardener.

I used to be a librarian. I've been demoted.

You must have been selling them funny cigarettes then

My job is to try and cheer up expats who feel that they don't like Switzerland :-)

I did not know a 'cum gardener' was a proffession.

Is it like masterbating on the lawn??

Depending on the time of the day, depends on what hat on got on:

Household Manager

Executive Kitchen Chef

Dr. Mom

Chauffer

Maid

There are a few days a year that I do actually work as a Meter Reader (Water/ Gas/ Electric).
