I travel the world, going to Sporting events I'm actually not interested in, cursing at all of the people who've paid good money to come and see them, and counting down the days until I can go home and see my family for a few days before leaving again.

Re: what do you do as work in Switzerland?

I spend most of my days watching the interest grow the balances on my multi-billion dollar Swiss bank accounts hidden from the US tax authorities (just like the rest of us Americans living in Switzerland, right?).

But, like the rest of you Americans, I have a day-job as a "cover". I'm in IT compliance. (or so that's what I tell the tax man)

I'm the lead singer in a David Hasselhoff cover band. In my free time I play third Triangle in an Ozzy Osbourne cover cover band....that's right, we do covers of a cover band.

Re: what do you do as work in Switzerland?

You all know about the rule of the employer having to prove he couldn't find any swiss citizen with an equivalent qualification before giving you the job. It would be interesting to know if the required qualifications for your specific job are so special that a swiss citizen couldn't meet up...

is that Swiss citizen or EU citizen? I thought non-EU permits are only available when an EU worker could not be found.
