Definitely report it to the police and have the credit card blocked.

Re: Lost the purse

Contact the tram company, suspend all the cards, often people hand in lost property. As there are ID cards she will most likely get it back.

It is customary to pay a 10% of value, rewarded to the finder.

Report it to the police. You will need the report for your insurance. Replacing the lost cards is a pain in the rear and, if I remember correctly, 40chf per card.

Re: Lost the purse

I lost my purse two month ago.

Firstly, I called to block my visa card, bank card and other cards that I had in my lost purse accordingly, and asked to replace all of them.

Secondly, I went to the police station in my zone to report for my lost permits(mine and my daughter's), and was given two "certificats"for both of us. The policeman told me that I could go to the Gemeinde to request the replacement cards of our permits with these two filled forms. I paid 67sfr each replacing our permits at Gemeinde.

And thirdly, I called the lossburo in case someone might hand in my loss. I was told that they would contact me if any finding.

Btw, I also paid 30sfr to have a replaced SBB half fare card ( visa), and 30sfr for my yearly public transportation card. Luckly, I did not need to pay for the rest cards replaced.

Good luck.
