Happy so far

Must admit, was fearing the worst, but so far, Ive found the bureaucracy here great! Polite, educated and friendly and efficient!!!!

Glad to hear it. Our experience has been pretty much the same. After living here for nearly 5 years, I've not found much to complain about with respect to administrative stuff, especially compared to our last several years' experience in the US (North Carolina). An added bonus is that my rather short, but Germanic last name is almost always spelled correctly and I have never received the "what kind of name is that, I ain't never heard a name like that before" from a Swiss person - (something that i regularly got in the US)..
