Looking for Paint....Anyone have any ideas?

Hey yll,
My friend suggested I post on this forum to see if anyone has some ideas. I`m looking for a very specific kind of Sherwyn Williams paint....I need it for a projection screen....it`s sort of like the poor man`s super screen stuff. Has anyone seen a Sherwyn Williams supplier in Switzerland or have any ideas how I can get some paint delivered here from the U.S. ? Would be horribly expensive wouldn`t it? And is that even something that can be shipped here?
Incidentally, I`ve contacted the European HQ for Sherwyn Williams and there are three distributors in Eastern and Northern Europe, all with very minimal inventory and/or equally disinterested in shipping to Switzerland.
Stumped,
Steven

You could try ebay. I've found that a lot of sellers on there offer very reasonable international shipping (cheaper than if you bought it through a store's website).
Otherwise, maybe have a family member or friend in the U.S. ship it to you via the postal service, which is always cheaper than UPS, DHL, etc. However, you might want to first look in to the Swiss customs rules regarding paints. My mother once tried to ship to me my acrylic paints after I moved here, and they were returned to her by Swiss customs. And those are water-based!

Good luck!

Maybe you could search for a similar product by a different manufacturer. Are you trying to turn a wall/surface into a projector screen? If so, I saw projector screen paint on Amazon UK - they may ship here. A search also brought up an american company that sells it - quite expensive but I don't know what the price should be - and they had a fedex logo with a map of the world so they may ship anywhere.

You might want to also look at video screen material as it is not too expensive (compared to a real screen) and can often give much better results than paint on a wall.

Here is one UK supplier. I remember that there is an Italian supplier but I can't remember their name.

EDIT: Here is the link for the Italian supplier. The cheapest option would be a screen with frame (my guess is it comes disassembled in a tube so shipping would not be that much). There is no pricing on the website (which is a real mess in FF) but you could send them an email.
